What is a Limited Cooperative Association, exactly?

It's a legal structure built for cooperative ownership. A group of us jointly owns and runs the company, and profits are split based on the work each person contributes. The upshot: the people doing the engineering are the ones with a stake in the outcome.

Who owns Revolution?

We do. Everyone doing the engineering is also an owner.

How do you split profits?

We use the Slicing Pie model. Each member's share is proportional to what they've actually put in: hours worked, capital contributed, risk taken. The pie grows as contributions grow, so everyone's slice reflects their real stake in the work rather than a fixed split set on day one.

How do decisions get made?

By the members, democratically. Big questions (direction, governance, which contracts we take on) get put to a vote. Day-to-day technical calls stay with whoever's closest to the work.

Are you accepting new members?

Depends on fit and what we're working on at the moment. If you're an engineer who wants to own the work you're doing, send us a note at contact@revolution.coop and we'll talk.
